Ingredients

Bars

  • 6 Tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup + 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup + 2 Tablespoons peanut butter
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 3/8 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup quick oats

Frosting

  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • milk
  • Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, roughly chopped

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Lightly grease your Original Pan with cooking spray and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, combine softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar and mix until well combined.
  3. Add egg, vanilla extract, and peanut butter and mix until smooth.
  4. Add flour, baking soda, and salt and mix until just combined.
  5. Stir in oats. The mixture will be somewhat sticky.
  6. Put your dough into the prepared pan and press it into all the edges until it's relatively even.
  7. Bake for 10 minutes.
  8. Remove from oven and let it cool completely.
  9. To make the frosting, cream the butter until smooth and then add the powdered sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and enough milk to make it a spreadable texture (probably 1-2 Tablespoons, but use your best judgement)
  10. Spread the frosting evenly on top of your cooled bars.
  11. Sprinkle the chopped Peanut Butter cups on top of the frosting.
  12. Use your cutter to cut whatever size pieces you prefer and serve!
